How do I make a purchase from this website?
Simply browse our product range, make a selection, choose a colour and we're away! Then e-mail us and tell us what product or products you wish to purchase, your colour choice, your timber choice, your method of payment and your desired completion date or simply request our customer order template, fill it in and e-mail it back to us. We will respond promptly and provide details on how to proceed, make payment, confirm and secure your order. That’s it, so quick and easy! When we receive your payment in full, we order all timber, stain and hardware materials, your order then commences in due course. We will confirm with you a start date and an estimated completion date. Payment is required in full before commencement of order. made2order no longer carries costs up front

What is the philosophy behind the made2order brand?
To offer all New Zealanders' affordable, unique, outdoor designer furniture at prices we believe most Kiwis' can afford to own. We have the most affordable prices for the most unique outdoor designer furniture in New Zealand.

What if my order isn't completed within the time-frame specified?
To date we have fulfilled almost every order within a certain time-frame, however should we fail to do so, we would contact you to advise of any delays, and give you the option to cancel your order and receive a prompt and courteous refund of any monies paid to made2order within five (5) business days

Are we able to use made2order outdoor designer furniture INDOORS?
Indeed you may! All made2order furniture may be used indoors or out for all year round entertaining. We recommend attaching or gluing rubber or felt padding to the bottom of your product to avoid damage to flooring. We have seen our products in rumpus rooms, offices, internal garages, conservatories, family rooms, lounges, bars, pubs, cafes, restaurants, indoor events and even in a tent! Depending on your place, made2order furniture may be enjoyed 365 days a year!

What payment methods do you accept?
made2order prefers direct credit bank deposit payments, ideal for those who have online banking. Credit Card payments are accepted through www.paypal.com When paying by credit card please add a surcharge fee of 5% to total, this covers credit card charges to made2order, we do not cover these costs. We have put in place the credit card facility for customer convenience. Contact us if you wish to make payment using a credit card and we will promptly provide you with our PayPal invoice via email. You may then complete payment and secure your order in a few simple steps

Do you offer LAYBY arrangements?
We sure do! See our simple layby terms here. We consider all requests on a case by case basis, please e-mail us or call made2order to discuss your individual requirements

Do you have a fax number?
No, however you can scan and e-mail us any paperwork and it is much quicker to get a response from made2order via e-mail

Do you have a retail store or show room?
No. This allows us to focus our attention solely on the Internet consumer. We are designed to make purchasing online virtually hassle free

Where is made2order outdoor designer furniture situated?
We are based in Northland, New Zealand

Are your products available to view?
As we make to order, you are welcome to view what we may have sitting on our workshop floor at the time and prior to shipping. Please contact us to arrange a suitable day and time

What materials do you use?
We use H3 treated NZ Pine and NZ Macrocarpa, glue, zinc plated screws and nails and Wattyl Forestwood outdoor furniture stain(s)

Will my table come with umbrella access?
All made2order tables, leaner's and bars come with standard size umbrella access unless requested otherwise. If you have a large market umbrella you may need a larger access, please let us know the circumference when you submit your order

Do your wooden products require maintenance?
All outdoor wooden furniture requires some form of maintenance throughout it's lifetime. We recommend you re-stain with one or two coats using a reputable Oil Stain every season. made2order uses "Wattyl Forestwood outdoor Oil Stain(s)" Please view "caring for your outdoor furniture"

Do you ship worldwide?
Currently we only cater to New Zealand customers. If you are an international customer, we will endeavour to meet your requirements. We would love to see our products shipped globally, contact us and let's see what we can do together

Do I pay for shipping?
Yes you do. We can recommend a number of carriers. You would arrange shipping and payment with the carrier direct. contact us for a list of carriers

What is the difference between "Shipping & Delivery" ?
"Shipping" means when we have completed your order and it is ready to ship - "Delivery" is when the carrier contacts you direct to arrange a day and time of delivery to your door

What do you sell?
outdoor bar settings, bar leaner settings, outdoor dining for 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12! We have picnic tables, BBQ tables, single chairs, bench seats, garden seats, stools, deck & patio furniture, massive balcony settings, bigger than Texas settings and more. And we can custom make too!

Is everything you make really your own design?
Indeed it is! made2order has solely designed, created and manufactured all advertised outdoor designer furniture which is 100% Unique - 100% Original. In fact, nobody in the world has made2orders' designs!

Are your product prices inclusive of GST?
All products we sell are inclusive of GST (if any)

How do I know that made2order received my order?
A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you at the e-mail address that you provide to made2order, you will also be advised as to when your order will be completed, ready for shipping or pick up

What timber(s) do you use?
we have a choice of two timbers, listed below

PINE: H3 treated NZ Pine
New Zealand pine is a remarkably versatile timber renowned for exceptional machining properties, durability, lightness, and structural strength. The strength of NZ pine compares favourably with most traditional construction lumber

MACROCARPA:
Is a softwood, honey brown in colour with a natural lustre, has a natural resistance and therefore does not need any artificial protection against insect or fungal attack, is recommended both for its structural strength and decorative appeal, has low shrinkage factor from green sawn to dry, a beautifully scented timber, and needs no artificial treatment
